Inside the first Trener Partner Summit

Nine integration companies came together in San Jose to explore deploying physical AI and robot skills, exchange customer experience and contribute to Trener’s product roadmap.

From October 19 to 21, 2026, partners from Europe and the United States gathered at Trener’s San Jose headquarters for our first Partner Summit. The focus was on what we can deliver together: robot skills that meet manufacturers’ needs, a clearer path from customer opportunity to deployment, and an ecosystem that helps integrators learn from each other.

Why we brought everyone together

Trener builds robot skills and the platform to deploy them on robots. Our partners build the cells, commission them and support customers afterwards. Bringing physical AI onto a production floor depends on that relationship, and on giving integrators the tools and support to deliver it.

As Asad put it during the summit:

“I really want you to look at us as your enablers for artificial intelligence, for the possibilities ahead.”

We set out to strengthen partners’ confidence in Acteris and robot skills, give them a voice in what we build next, and connect the Integration Suite with the practical work of delivering customer projects.

Confidence in robot skills on the production floor

Acteris demonstrations across ABB, Universal Robots and FANUC hardware showed the same skill set running across different robot brands. Partners could explore how those skills apply to customer environments and discuss the practical requirements of a deployment.

The Integration Suite sessions focused on helping partners prepare and commission cells more efficiently. Connecting its tools with real integration tasks gave partners a clearer view of how to make the process easier to repeat across customer projects.

Connecting production experience with future capabilities

A visit to a machine shop near San Jose connected the demonstrations with daily production. Partners saw Acteris running parts to a real schedule and spoke with the operators who use it every day. A live session on advanced AI capabilities also showed how a model learns capabilities and how those capabilities are implemented in practice on a robot.

Partners brought experience from customer projects into the product roadmap discussions, sharing and ranking the priorities that matter most to them. Their feedback gives Trener a clearer view of where future capabilities can make a practical difference.

Shaping the capabilities that come next.

The compute and physical AI session with Velaura and Sanjay Gupta explored how compute shapes what physical AI can do. The discussion connected increasingly capable robot skill models with the computing infrastructure needed to run them, giving partners a broader perspective on what is needed to bring future capabilities into industrial applications.

What partners said

Partners shared their perspectives on what Acteris, the Integration Suite and new robot skills could mean for their businesses, their customers and future automation projects.

A look inside the what partners said at Trener Partner Summit.

"As a small business owner in Sweden, I know my limiting factor is myself, my time and my technical guys. So to any other integrators who feel the same way, I can assure you that the Trener Integration Suite and the Acteris software will limit the time you spend on integration, development and deployment, so you can get more systems into the field."

Karl Ericsson, SE Automation

“Acteris is a great product, it gives [their] customers the opportunity to troubleshoot and turn over their machines, and it gives customers the confidence to automate almost anything that comes into the shop.”

Kyle Loustaunau, Automate West

"With Trener, we receive a huge toolbox of new ways of automating problems that we simply couldn't automate before. Now, with these new capabilities, we are able to do that, and I'm really excited about the new possibilities we will have together."

Daniel Künstner, J+K

Shared knowledge and stronger connections

Partners left with firsthand experience of how Acteris and the Integration Suite support customer projects, how robot skills are learned and deployed, and how their input helps shape Trener’s product roadmap. Across the three days, these sessions connected physical AI capabilities with the integration and deployment work partners

Great conversations with the Trener team and fellow integrators created opportunities to compare challenges, exchange experiences and build new connections. Thank you to all our partners and the Trener team for making our first Partner Summit a success.

Deploying physical AI together

We are on a mission to deploy physical AI and robot skills on production floors. Our partner ecosystem is crucial to that mission: integrators turn those capabilities into working cells, support the people who use them and help us understand what manufacturers need next.

We are expanding our partner network across Europe and the United States, bringing together integrators who want to help scale physical AI across more industrial applications.
