Acteris: Vision-Guided Part Detection and Adaptive Motion Control

See how Acteris uses AI-powered vision to detect parts and guide a Universal Robots UR5 through a full production cycle, from natural language job creation through to autonomous pick, load, and unload.

This demonstration shows Acteris managing a complete vision-guided machine tending cycle on a Universal Robots UR5. Rather than relying on fixed positions or manual programming, the operator creates the job through a natural, conversational interaction with the Acteris AI agent. The platform then validates the motion sequence in simulation before deploying to the physical robot.

Once in production, Acteris uses AI vision to detect the part, compute the precise pick position, and adapt its motion automatically to handle variations in the environment. Path planning happens in real time, allowing the robot to respond to changes without manual intervention.

The result is a robot cell that is faster to set up, easier to operate, and capable of handling the variability that traditional automation cannot.
